DispatchShield ("DispatchShield," "we," "us," or "our") provides invoice recovery and field-service operations software to service businesses ("Customers"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users of our website and application (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Name, email address, phone number, business name, and profile details you provide when signing up or being invited to a workspace.
- Authentication data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google based on the scopes you approve. We do not receive your Google password.
- Business and job data. Information you enter about your customers, jobs, invoices, payments, and team members.
- Location data. When a team member uses GPS-tagged actions (e.g., En Route, Arrived), we record location coordinates, accuracy, timestamp, and the permission status reported by the browser. Location capture only occurs in response to an explicit user action.
- Device and usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through standard server logs and analytics.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate users and secure accounts.
- To process invoices, payments, and customer communications on behalf of our Customers.
- To provide support and respond to inquiries.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to provide the Service:
- Service providers. Infrastructure, hosting, database, email delivery, and analytics providers acting on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security terms.
- Within your workspace. Information you enter is visible to other authorized members of your DispatchShield workspace based on their assigned role.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of DispatchShield, our Customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
4. Data Retention
We retain account, business, and job data for as long as a workspace remains active. When a workspace is closed, we delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security on customer data. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure; please use a strong password and protect your account credentials.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- You may update your profile information at any time from within the Service.
- You may revoke Google sign-in access from your Google Account at any time.
